The game offers three factions: US, Russia, and China fighting against each other, therefore there are some new weapons like the famous Chinese J20, Xianglong and others are featured. The mode features a lot of vehicles available for selection for the combat from and tons of weapons to be unlocked that can be further used in the multiplayer. The campaign features 2 main options - the Engage command that helps the main character to attack any enemies appearing in the sight and the tactical binocular allowing to detect any objects or enemies in the field.
Over 7 million copies have been sold worldwide making the shooter one of the most successful releases of the BF series. However it was criticized for a short and boring campaign mode, glitches and numerous bugs. The FPS was generally met with positive reception from players and critics with its multiplayer, gameplay and graphics being praised. This is a next generation shooter from a Swedish developer DICE released in November, 2013 and is a continuation of the Battlefield 3 video game that became available in 2011.
